Roy Haas, 85, of Veedersburg Route 4, died Tuesday July 30, 1974 at his home. Born June 20, 1889 in Fountain County, he was the son of Luther and Selie Gott Haas. He married Carrie L. King, who survives. Mr. Haas was employed by the Indiana Condensed Milk Co. at Veedersburg before his retirement. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Maxine Fix, Mrs. Laura Olson, Mrs. Marie Rennick and Mrs. Bernice Biggs, all of Attica, a son Bennie Haas of Hillsboro, 27 grandchildren and 60 great-grandchildren. Survivors also include a brother Walter, a patient at the Alward Nursing Home in Attica. He was preceded in death by a son and daughter. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Parham Funeral Home with the Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiating. Burial will be in the Rockfield Cemetery.  -- typed by Walt W

VEEDERSBURG — Roy Haas, 85, of Veedersburg, retired employe of Indiana Condensed Milk Co., died Tuesday in his home. Born June 20, 1889, in Fountain County, he was the son of Luther and Selie Gott Haas. He was married to Carrie L. King. She survives. Other survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Maxine Fix, Mrs. Laura Olson, Mrs. Marie Rennick and Mrs. Bernice Biggs, all of Attica; a son, Bennie of Hillsboro, a brother Walter of Woodland Manor Nursing Home at Attica; 27 grandchildren, and 60 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son and a daughter. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in the Parham Funeral Home here with the Rev. Alfred Dodds officiating.
